Hawks sign not one, but TWO Raiders!

May 8th, 6:00pm - Hastings, MN. In October, the Board of Directors chose Shawn Matson to be the next manager of the Hawks with a few reasons in mind. One of the top reasons was his commitment to doing everything he can to keep Hastings players playing IN HASTINGS while staying competitive in the CCVL.

Today was a major move to staying with that commitment.

The Hawks are proud to announce the signing of
Mikey Junker and Cody Marek to the roster.

Both players bring exceptional athleticism and skills to the Hawks, but most importantly, they bring the right attitude to the team. They are great young men who understand the dedication it takes to not only play sports but also give back to the community.

Hawks fans will have to wait to see them in their new uniforms for a little while. One principle we stand by is we will not interfere with High School or Legion/VFW players making it to those games first as those years are not only important from a development stand point, but it's important those athletes focus on the teams that got them to us in the first place, especially since you can't go back once you reach a certain age. Until then, watch for them in the stands until the High School Season is over and welcome them to the team! Good Skill with the HHS team until then gents!

Hawks fall to Forest Lake.

May 2nd, 5:00pm - Hastings, MN. The Hastings Hawks invited the Forest Lake Brewers to town for some exhibition action and their first game of the season. The Brewers were one of the top teams in the state last year, and they proved to be too much for rookie manager Shawn Matson's Hawks.

THANKS RAIDER BOYS!

The Hastings Raiders Boys Baseball players have come out twice to clean up the field and help paint the press box. Spreading a little home town love and showing the importance of baseball to the community as a whole. HHS Head Coach Taylor Pagel, who plays in the CCVL against the Hawks for Canon Falls, understands the important role the local baseball players have at all levels and in all aspects of the game, especially supporting not only the entire baseball community, but the town in general.

Paint is going on the Press Box!

May 1st - Hastings, MN. The Press Box is still under construction, but it sure is starting to look even better! Weather and limited volunteer time have played icky roles in delaying the final touches to the project.

Thanks to those who have made it out to get some work done on it!

Take a peek at the view from the Press box!

Press box is up!!!

February 3rd, 2015, Hastings MN - It's been talked about for years, drawn and redrawn and redrawn some more. Funds have been sought out, labor, more labor, permission, permits, etc. Guess what? It's finally making it's way to reality!

We cannot thank our donor and contractors enough for the work they put into getting the box up. It actually went up at the end of the season, 2014, but this announcement waited until the revamp of the website.
